Will I be protected both inside and outside my home?
Yes, goVia HOME Classic and Wireless have a base station and wearable helps buttons that can be used within a range of the base station device. goVia HOME Classic is up to a 1300 ft. range and goVia HOME Wireless is up to a 600 ft. range. Wearable buttons will not connect to operators outside of the range from the base station devices.
Do I need a landline to use these systems?
You will need a landline for the HOME Classic device. The goVia HOME Wireless does not need a landline and operates on included nationwide AT&T cellular coverage. Access to cellular coverage will be needed for service.
Do the HOME systems have a backup battery?
Yes, goVia HOME Wireless has a backup battery of up to 30 hours and the goVia HOME Classic has a backup battery of up to 32 hours.
Can I wear the wearable help buttons in the shower?
Yes, the wearable help buttons with the goVia HOME Wireless and Classic are waterproof and can be worn in the shower.
Can I add Auto Fall Detection to these systems?
goVia HOME Wireless Fall Detection device includes auto fall detection. With the goVia HOME Classic you have the option to add on automatic fall detection for an additional monthly cost.
